Biltong is the favorite snack of South Africa, where its origins date back hundreds of years. We follow that same authentic process (with a little modern technology) today, using whole muscle cuts of locally sourced US beef.
Biltong is made using the same simple process as it was centuries ago (with perhaps a little added sophistication). Cured in vinegar and spices, hung dry at room temperature and sliced oh-so-thin. The finished product is fresh, tender, bright and delicious.
