Commitment to US Beef

When we started this brand, we called a few jerky companies and asked a simple question: Where do you get your beef from?

The answer? We get it from a guy, who knows a guy, who has a guy, in some other country. 

With a 3rd generation cattle rancher as a co-founder, we couldn't do it that way. So, we made a commitment to source 100% of our beef (and any meat) from domestic producers.

Is this going to save the planet? Maybe not. But we believe firmly in supporting local American agriculture, and in having full control over our most important ingredient. Local beef means greater traceability, fewer food miles, and fresher jerky.
